PRODUCT FAQ

  1. What is 3M™ Modified Polyvinylidene Flouride Heat Shrink Tubing MFP-3/32-48-Clear-Bulk used for?

3M™ Modified Polyvinylidene Flouride Heat Shrink Tubing MFP-3/32-48-Clear-Bulk is commonly used as a protective covering over wires, cables, and other components in electronic assemblies.

  2. Can the tubing be easily applied to different-sized objects?

Yes, it can. This heat shrink tubing shrinks down to one-third of its original size when you apply heat using a hot air gun or oven. It conforms snugly around the object when cooling giving an excellent seal against moisture, dust or other contaminants.

  3. Is there any specific way to store this product?

For best results and longer shelf life, keep the packaging sealed and stored in a dry place (40–60% relative humidity) at room temperature (15°C – 27°C). Avoid exposing them under direct sunlight or intense lighting which may cause some discoloration.
